As you know, traditional kapok processing is unregulated, unsafe, and highly manual, often exposing workers to dust, unstable conditions, and undignified labor practices. It also results in inconsistent quality and contamination risk.
At Flocus™, we’ve solved these challenges by industrializing the process:
Mechanically cleaned, not by hand, ensuring hygienic, stable, and scalable output
Certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Annex 6, Class 1), safe for even baby products
Two fiber grades available:
• Fina – for stuffing, padding, and nonwovens
• Clarus – engineered for spinning, with UHML length of 19.3–21 mm
We also address the root of the supply chain: through our non-profit KRAF, we plant kapok trees, introduce safe harvesting methods, and create long-term, traceable, and regenerative fiber sourcing.
